The American Cancer Society, as part of Breast Cancer Month, organized its annual “No One Walks Alone” event, which saw St. Croix residents on Sunday evening walking from downtown Christiansted to the Canegata Ballpark in Gallows Bay.

The turnout was impressive, with hundreds event-goers joining the walk, which ended with a few talks about the importance of continuing the fight against cancer, the benefits of exercising, as well as mentions of upcoming American Cancer Society events, including the annual Relay for Life, which takes place in May, 2017.
