Mapp To Host Press Conference Today Focused On Judiciary Matters

ST. THOMAS — Governor Kenneth Mapp will host a press conference at Government House here today, according to a release issued on Monday.

The press conference is being held relative to matters concerning the judiciary, but the release did not specify what exactly would be announced or discussed.

The governor last week hosted two press conferences on this island, the first on Tuesday that focused on the results of his health and wellness trip, as well as the announcement of former chief of staff Randolph Knight’s resignation. That press event was followed by another on Thursday, where the governor announced a sweeping plan to overhaul the horse racing industry in the territory.

The press event will start at 10:00 a.m.
