North South Net, Inc. (NSN), an international custom publishing company, announced via press release today that it has entered into a partnership with the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association to develop an upscale destination magazine for the hotels and resorts on St. Thomas, St. Croix and St. John.

NSN will partner with Media Marketing, Inc. (MMI) for local sales and MMI will continue to publish Places to Explore, a user-friendly guide containing tourist information, coupons and more, according to the release.

The upcoming hardcover magazine will carry on the tradition of informing visitors to the USVI of all the exciting things to see and do. The magazine will capture the beauty of the islands with visually appealing photographs, captivating stories and valuable information about shopping, dining, activities, attractions and more, according to the release.

“We are very excited about this new publishing partnership with NSN. We will be actively working together to promote our islands and attract more visitors,” says Lisa Hamilton, president of the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association. “With their vast experience publishing print and digital products throughout the Caribbean, NSN is positioned to be a valued strategic partner.”

With a combined 60 years in the industry, NSN’s principals have been serving clients throughout the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean. They currently produce magazines for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Antigua, Cayman Islands, St. Maarten/St. Martin, Miami Beach and Naples, Florida.

“It’s an honor to be working with Lisa Hamilton and her outstanding team at the U.S. Virgin Islands Hotel & Tourism Association,” said Garry Duell Jr., publisher of North South Net, Inc. “The USVI holds a special place in my heart, as I have frequently visited the islands for both business and pleasure over the past 30-plus years. Our award-winning team will work with local contributors to create a world-class publication. Our goal is to provide visitors to the USVI and overnight guests with the highest quality of information during their stay.”

The first edition of the annual publication will be available in December 2017. Additional details regarding the publication and an official launch event will be released as they become available, according to the release.
