Police Searching For Suspect Who Allegedly Shot Man Multiple Times In Whim

ST. CROIX — The V.I.P.D. is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a suspect who police say shot a man multiple times just after 6:00 p.m. today.

According to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte, Nathaniel Hazel, also known as “Ninja”, allegedly shot a man multiples times in his upper body in the vicinity of the Whim ballpark at 6:03 p.m. The victim was transported to the Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment.

Mr. Dratte says police officers are actively searching for Mr. Hazel, and the force is asking the community for its immediate assistance in that effort. If you see Mr. Hazel, don’t approach the suspect; instead, call 911 or 340-778-2211 immediately.
