V.I.P.D. Makes Third Appeal To Community In Effort To Capture Murder Suspect Samuel ‘Ghost’ Roberts; $2,500 Reward Offered

News / Virgin Islands / July 16, 2017

The Virgin Islands Police Department on Sunday issued another press release — its third so far — calling on the community to help in the apprehension of murder suspect Samuel “Ghost” Roberts, who the force has warned is armed and dangerous.

This time, Crime Stoppers USVI is offering a $2,500 reward (submit anonymous tip here) for information leading to the arrest of Mr. Roberts, 20, a black male between 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, according to police. He weighs about 150 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and a low haircut.

Mr. Roberts frequents the Lorraine Village, Mutual Homes and Estate Tortola communities — all located in Grove Place, according to police. The V.I.P.D. also reminded public that anyone harboring a fugitive will be arrested and charged.

Police are asking residents who come into contact with the suspect to call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-7782211, or Crime stoppers USVI.
