St. Croix Waste Haulers said today that they will not be collecting waste from private entities come next week, because of new tipping fees implemented by the Waste Management Authority that are set to take effect on August 1. The waste haulers say the new fees stand to cripple their businesses, with costs climbing from zero to the thousands of dollars in some instances.
