Sion Farm Man’s Home Riddled With Bullets In Wee Hours Of Friday Morning

ST. CROIX — The V.I.P.D. on Friday reported that a Sion Farm man’s home was shot multiple times at around 3:57 this morning, damaging the house and leaving several shell casings on the ground, according to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte.

Mr. Dratte said officers were dispatched to the area and upon arrival made contact with a resident, who said he was awoken by the rattling of gunshots. Another individual was interviewed and corroborated the information provided by the resident.

The force’s forensic team canvassed the area and observed what appeared to be bullet holes to various parts of the resident’s home, as well as shell casings on the road, according to Mr. Dratte.

No one was injured during the incident, and the V.I.P.D. has classified the matter as reckless endangerment.

Police are asking Sion Farm residents with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers USVI to send an anonymous tip.
