Postal Service Resumes Operations On St. Croix Friday; Services Continue In St. Thomas And St. John

The Postal Service will restore handout of packages and mail service, along with retail (stamps, packages, money orders) in St. Croix on Friday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

  • In Christiansted, the Christiansted main Post Office. The downtown office, Gallows Bay and Sunny Isle will be each be open for the customers of those offices.  
  • Kingshill will provide handout of mail service for Fredericksted addresses.

St. Thomas

Offices operating in St. Thomas will continue for pickups 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.:

The Charlotte Amalie Post Office will provide mail and package pickup for customers whose addresses include the ZIP codes 00801, 00802, and 00803.

Havensight Station has been providing mail for post office box addresses with ZIP Code 00802.

Customers are now directed to Havensight also for mail handout for customers in the ZIP Code 00804, served by the Emancipation Gardens office.

  • East End /Tutu Mall continues handout for addresses in ZIP Code 00805

St. John 

The Cruz Bay Post Office will continue handout of mail service from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be no retail service (stamps, money orders, shipping) available. 

Postal employees are being directed to report to work or use option 4 on the Postal Service hotline.
