Postal Service Operation Continues Saturday Territory-Wide

According to the Postal Service, while operations for mail distribution continue across the U.S. Virgin Islands on Saturday, postal officials report that the biggest change will be the return of letter carriers to the street in Charlotte Amalie, as limited residential mail delivery will resume where safe and secure.

  • Also in St. Thomas, post offices continue hand-to-hand mail pickups:
  • The Charlotte Amalie Post Office will provide mail and package pickup for customers whose addresses include the ZIP codes 00801, 00802, and 00803
  • Havensight Station has been providing mail for post office box addresses with ZIP Code 00802.
  • Customers are directed to Havensight also for mail handout for customers in the ZIP Code 00804, served by the Emancipation Gardens office.
  • East End /Tutu Mall continues handout for addresses in ZIP Code 00805

St. John

  • The Cruz Bay Post Office will continue handout of mail service with no retail service (stamps, money orders, shipping) available.

St. Croix

  • The Postal Service will be able to restore handout of packages and mail service, along with retail (stamps, packages, money orders) from 12 noon.
  • In Christiansted, the Christiansted Main Post Office, the Downtown office, Gallows Bay and Sunny Isle will be each be open for the customers of those offices.
    Kingshill will provide handout of mail service for Fredericksted addresses.
