Dept. Of Health Bringing Mobile Clinic To Plaza West On St. Croix, Fort Christian Parking Lot In St. Thomas

ST. CROIX — Department of Health (D.O.H.) today is bringing its mobile clinic to the community, as it seeks ways to continue providing services in wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, which left the department’s facilities damaged and in need of repairs.

From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the St. Croix arm of D.O.H. will be providing services at Plaza Extra West Supermarket. In the St. Thomas-ST. John District, D.O.H. will be at the Fort Christian parking lot.

Services to be offered include:

  • Mental health and wellness sessions for the public
  • Children’s activities regarding coping with recovery
  • FREE tetanus and flu shots
  • Infant and toddler kit distribution
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Blood glucose screenings
  • Breast screening and breast cancer awareness education
  • HIV/STD Testing and distribution of condoms
  • Zika education
  • Insect repellent distribution
  • Post-hurricane health and safety information
