The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said on Monday that restoration work continues today and traffic flow will be affected in and around the work areas as a result.

On St. Croix, crews will continue work in Hannah’s Rest, Frederiksted town as well as in Christiansted.

On St. John, crews will work in the Fish Bay area, along the Northshore road, and from Bellevue to Gifft Hill School.

On St. Thomas, crews will work along Frenchman’s Bay Road toward Bakerroe and Bolongo. Other crews will perform reconstruction and restoration work along Smith Bay Road near Margaritaville, and in Estates Mandahl and Wintberg.

Motorists are advised to adhere to the directions of flaggers, military police and V.I.P.D. officers who are assisting with traffic control. Additionally, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and avoid the work areas when possible.
