Organization Called ‘Women Striving For Success’ Announces Job Fair

Business / Community Center / News / Virgin Islands / November 27, 2017

ST. THOMAS — Women Striving For Success, Inc. (WSFS) is seeking businesses with current job openings to participate in a job fair on Saturday, December 16 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Tutu Park Mall, the group announced Monday.

Businesses are asked to register by emailing [email protected] by December 4th to be included in newspaper advertisements. Businesses will be asked to provide information in advance about the types and numbers of positions available. WSFS members and volunteers will be on hand to greet job seekers, help answer questions, and to provide assistance.

WSFS President, Senator Janette Millin Young, said, “WSFS’s job fair provides an excellent opportunity for businesses to recruit seasonal help as well as to connect with permanent employees. Business representatives are given space to talk to candidates about their company and the jobs they must offer. Job seekers should attend this free annual event to explore local job opportunities.”

Women Striving For Success, Inc. started as a grassroots movement in 2012 in a very informal manner in 2012. We incorporated the organization in June 2013. WSFS aims to provide a forum for women to network to advance themselves personally, professionally, as well as their businesses. The organization prides itself in moving from location to location to help promote women-owned businesses.

For more information please call 340-693-WSFS (9737), email [email protected] or visit the website at www.womenstrivingforsuccess.org.
