Missing Boy Has Been Found

ST. THOMAS — An 11-year-old boy who went missing in St. Thomas at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday has been found, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced Monday.

The boy, Wilson Forbes, was found at approximately 9:15 a.m. behind his residence sleeping in a family member’s car, according to the V.I.P.D. He is reported to be in healthy condition.

V.I.P.D. Commissioner Delroy Richards and Laurie Dunton of Crime Stoppers USVI thanked the community for their assistance, as well as those who shared the missing person alert on social media platforms. The post was shared over 365 times via The Consortium’s Facebook platform.

Wilson is nonverbal autistic, and in its original release, the V.I.P.D. said he who would possibly not have responded to someone calling his name. However, he’d perhaps answer to “Ky-Ky”, “Ky” or “Kylon”.
