ST. CROIX — Governor Albert Bryan recently ordered the removal of reserved parking signs from Queen Cross Street in Christiansted, undoing a yearslong practice of reserving the spaces for Government House personnel, according to Government House.
This means anyone can now park in the area.
Mr. Bryan will leave the territory today for Washington, D.C. for a week of meetings with senior White House administration officials and members of Congress. The governor will also be attending the annual National Governor’s Association (N.G.A.) Winter Meeting, and will testify before Congress during the trip.
