The National Health IT Collaborative for the Underserved (NHIT®), in collaboration with the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Health and the U.S. Virgin Isla Department of Human Services, will be convening the USVI Health Innovation Summit on today at the University of the Virgin Islands – Albert A. Sheen Campus, Great Hall on St. Croix, the Dept. of Health has announced.
The purpose of the NHIT is to enhance USVI’s capacity to create a resilient 21st century health system. The summit is supported by a grant from the Department of Interior, the D.O.H. release said.
