ST. CROIX — Plans for the 2019/2020 Crucian Christmas Festival move into high gear this week on St. Croix, the Dept. of Tourism has announced.
Assistant Director of Festivals for St. Croix Shamari Haynes announced that a meeting for festival parade and J’ouvert troupes is set for Tuesday at CHOP Bar & Grill Restaurant at Sunny Isle Shopping Center on St. Croix, starting at 5:30 p.m., while a follow-up meeting with booth vendors is set for Wednesday, November 6 at the same place and time.
The meeting will review rules and regulations of the Crucian Christmas Festival Village.
This year’s festival is being held under the theme: “What a Sight to See: Music, Culture and Pageantry”.
Mr. Haynes also reported that Food Fair applications are available at the Department of Tourism office in Frederiksted and can be obtained by contacting Kisa Harris or Bradley Christian at (340) 772-0357.
