St. Croix Board of Elections Extends Voter Registration Hours

As the November 4 General Election draws closer, the St. Croix Board of Elections is providing citizens ample time and opportunity to register to vote.

The Board recently announced extended voter registration hours for the week beginning Mon., Sept. 29 to Sun., Oct. 5, 2014. They are as follows:

  • Monday, September 29 — 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 30 — 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 1 — 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 2 — 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, October 3 — 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 4 — 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, October 5 — 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The territory is currently celebrating National Voter Registration Day  with events across St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John with its 2014 Voter EXPO. The EXPO is part of an ongoing effort to engage the voting public, as mandated by law, and to introduce the new voting machines that will be used for the 2014 General Election.
