Virgin Islands Police Department spokesperson Melanie Rames said Thursday morning that 16-year-old Kimberly Cook was located on Wednesday in the Smith Bay area of St. Thomas and has been returned to family members. No additional information was provided by police.

Virgin Islanders are being called upon to help in the search of a runaway minor identified as 16-year-old Kimberly R. Cook of St. Thomas
The teen first went missing on Monday, but she was was located by police officers and returned to her family on Tuesday. However, on Wednesday, Cook ran away again and police are still searching for her, according to information released today by police spokesperson, Melody Rames.
Cook is a student at the Ivanna Eudora Kean High School and is originally from the island of Jamaica. She is 5’10” and weighs about 150 pounds. She has short brown hair.
Police are asking anyone who has seen Cook or knows of her whereabouts to contact the Youth Investigation Bureau at (340) 715-5543 or call emergency 911.
Police are also reminding the public that anyone assisting Cook in evading police or persuading the minor to stay away from home could face criminal charges.
