St. Thomas Arrests — April 10-13

VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced the following arrests on St. Thomas from April 10 through April 13.

Friday, April 10, 2015 – Rafael G. Dalmida, 28, of Pastory was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery in connection with an incident where he was placed under citizen’s arrest after being positively identified by a complainant as the individual that physically assaulted and threatened to kill him. Unable to post bail set at $500, Dalmida was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Saturday, April 11, 2015 – William Y. Quiones, 24, of Bellevue Village was arrested and charged with destruction of property (DV) in relation to an incident where he punched a woman’s bedroom door, causing damage. No bail was set for William Quiones, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

(No date provided) Jamaal L. Clendinen, 28, of Calabash Boom, St. John, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery (DV) after he was identified as the individual who slapped his girlfriend in the face and scratched her all over her body. No bail was set for Clendinen in according with Virgin Islands law, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Sunday, April 12, 2015 – Shamoy E. Jarvis, 22, of Bovoni was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) after he was involved in an auto collision and failed a field sobriety test. Bail for Shamoy E. Jarvis was set at $500 by order of the court.

(No date provided) Valencia Charles, 33, of Contact Knolls Apartments was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery (DV) after she struck her minor son with a stick all over his body causing visible injuries. No bail was set for Charles and she was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advise-of-rights hearing.
