ST. THOMAS — A husband and wife damaged each other during a fight on Sunday at about 6:30 p.m., leaving the woman with a gauze tied to her forehead to protect a laceration she sustained, according to information provided by VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson.
Jackson said Tamika Richards assaulted her husband, Henry Richards, with a bottle and also bit him on the right hand during the altercation. The husband reacted by assaulting his wife with a bottle causing the laceration that required stitches.
The couple, both 34 from Estate Dorthea, was charged with third degree assault, domestic violence, and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending their advise-of-rights hearing.
