ST. CROIX — After issuing a media alert for two felons wanted on various charges on Monday, VIPD officers were able to arrest the men by Thursday, according to Kevin Jackson, VIPD’s Public Information Officer.
Kadeem Rosario, a 20-year-old Hispanic male, was wanted on several charges, including burglary in the second degree, contempt of court, destruction of property, trespassing and disturbance of the peace by making threats. After his advise-of-rights hearing, held on Thursday, Rosario was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections after failing to make bail of $25,000.
Akeem Herbert, a 24-year-old black male with a dark complexion, was wanted on first degree burglary, grand larceny and aggravated assault and battery charges. He was held without bail.
Both felons turned themselves in to police without incident.
The VIPD wishes to thank the community for its involvement with the arrests.
