VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced the following arrests on St. Thomas from June 15-18.

Monday, June 15, 2015 –Micheal Bernard George, 33 of Estate Carolina was arrested and charged with first degree burglary after he and another individual (unknown at this time) broke into a Coral Bay office with a knife. Unable to post bail of $2,500, George was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Monday, June 15, 2015 – Leo J. Westerman, 39 of Estate Tutu was arrested and charged with damage to a vehicle after being positively identified by the complainant as the person he observed jumping out of the vehicle that the complainant had rented. Bail for Westerman was set at $1000 by order of the court.

Tuesday, June 16, 2015 – Brady A. Sweet, 23 of Estate Bakkero was arrested and charged with DUI/ negligent driving for being involved in an auto-collision that occurred on June 9, 2015 on the Weymouth Rhymer Highway. Bail for Sweet was set at $500 by order of the court.

Tuesday, June 16, 2015 – Liston England, 50 of Hospital Ground was arrested and charged with simple assault and battery (DV) after he physically assaulted his girlfriend and damaged property within the residence they share. No Bail was set for England and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

Thursday, June 18, 2015 – Anthony Angol, 19 of Blind Point, Cruz Bay, St. John was arrested and charged with third degree assault after he was positively identified and admitted to stabbing a male in the area of the Bonjour Gas Station. Unable to post bail of $25,000, Angol was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
