Man Stabbed At Nightclub Near Kingshill Post Office

Breaking News / News / Virgin Islands / July 25, 2015

ST. CROIX — A man was stabbed in the stomach while at a nightclub located near the Kingshill Post office, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson has announced.

According to Jackson, at roughly 2:09 a.m., the 911 emergency call center received a report from the Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center concerning a male individual who was picked up at the Corner Pocket Nightclub with a stab wound to his stomach, and dropped off at hospital’s emergency room for treatment.

The preliminary information gathered about the occurrence is vague, because the 42-year-old victim refused to cooperate with the officers in providing information as to what led to the stabbing.

Detectives are continuing their investigation into the matter.
