ST. THOMAS — Following a well organized press conference on St. Croix, governor Kenneth Mapp, along with VITEMA, VIPD, Dept. of Public Works and other government officials, traveled here to visit government agencies, flood zones and shelters in an effort to demonstrate to the community the administration’s readiness for Hurricane Danny and other potential storms.
In the above video, the governor expressed satisfaction with the current state of affairs, and displayed confidence, like he did yesterday, that his administration stands ready for Danny’s impact.
“All in all I’m fully convinced that the Government of the Virgin Islands and its agencies and instrumentalities are prepared to handle whatever event should pass through the territory,” Mapp said.
