ST. THOMAS — Federal agents arrested a Tortola man currently wanted in Florida on grand theft auto charges, according to a press release Sakeeda Freeman, VIPD media specialist issued today.
According to Ms. Freeman, on Saturday, October 24 at around 3:11 p.m., Andre Emmanuel Stoutt, 30, of West End Tortola was arrested by the Customs and Border Patrol Unit in St. John. He was traveling from the British Virgin Islands to the territory and has been levied with fugitive of justice charges.
Stoutt was arrested pursuant of an arrest warrant issued by the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida due to previous charges of grand theft auto that occurred on June, 28, 2015, according to Ms. Freeman.
His bail is set at $175,000, according to the arrest warrant issued by the state of Florida.
