ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announced through press release on Thursday that there will be an electrical service interruption for a portion of St. Croix Feeder #3A from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 12.
According to the release, customers in the Catherine’s Rest and Work and Rest areas will be affected while crews install a recloser device. The installation of the recloser will improve reliability to customers on this feeder.
WAPA is asking Motorists to proceed cautiously while the work is being performed, and to follow traffic directions for the safety of crews, pedestrians and other drivers. The release concluded by stating that every effort will be made to restore service as quickly as possible.
