ST. CROIX — “We want water! We want water! We want water!” was the chant of Juanita Gardine Elementary School students on Wednesday, as firefighters demonstrated how they go about containing fires. To the east of the facility, an EMT official spoke to students about his job and moments later, St. Croix Rescue’s Liz Goggins described tools used to rescue individuals.

It was all part of the school’s weeklong “Week of the Young Child” set of events, with Wednesday being Career Day. Below, videos showing some activities.
