Police Searching For Wanted St. Croix Man

ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in finding a man wanted on domestic violence and assault charges.

The suspect, 24-year-old Waldemar Martinez, above, is being charged with destruction of property and second-degree assault, according to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte.

A Hispanic male, Mr. Martinez is 5 feet 11 inches tall. He has hazel eyes, dark, brown hair and a light complexion. Mr. Martinez has tattoos between his left thumb and index finger, and a tattoo with the word “GAZA” on the back of his right hand.

He is known to frequent Bethlehem Village and Mutual Homes on this island, according to Mr. Dratte.
