While making closing remarks during a press conference in St. Thomas on Tuesday, Governor Kenneth Mapp indulged in a little self-deprecation. He spoke of how he once attempted to weigh himself, and the scale responded by stating, “One person at a time, please,” a telling sign that the governor’s weight represented two or more persons.
The crowd roared with laughter.
