ST. CROIX — Looking for a vehicle at a reasonable price? Maybe you should mark your calendar for Saturday, the day the Department of Property and Procurement will be hosting a car auction on this island, where used government vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder.
The auction will take place at P&P’s main office in Estate Richmond, adjacent to the Charles Harwood Medical Complex (Dept. of Health building). Registration will start at 9:00 a.m., however pre-registration is available Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the main office, according to a P&P release issued Wednesday. The registration fee, $100, is nonrefundable.
There will be a maximum of 2 winning bids per registered bidder, according to the release. All GVI employees are welcome to participate.
