ST. CROIX — The St. Croix Hotel and Tourism Association (STXHTA) in partnership with Cape Air hosted a travel agent reception for Puerto Rico travel agents and press, attracting over a dozen attendees from tourism and media sectors, including two of the largest wholesalers on Puerto Rico, according to a release STXHTA late Monday.

The reception, held on Aug. 10 at the AC Hotel by Marriott San Juan Condado, allowed STXHTA members an opportunity to highlight their businesses. Hotel and allied members participated, showcasing a variety of accommodations, activities, attractions and services offered on St. Croix.

“The St. Croix Hotel and Tourism Association is very pleased to have had the chance to connect with the Puerto Rican market, and to have the opportunity to showcase what St. Croix has to offer as a destination. We look forward to increased exposure in the marketplace driving more visitors to St. Croix,” said STXHTA President Suzanne Rosbach.

In addition to the presentations, travel agents and press enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while winning raffle prizes including hotel stays, flights and activities.

STXHTA thanked sponsors of the event, among then Landmark Vineyards and Fiji Water as well as attending representatives from STXHTA and the USVI Department of Tourism.
