All Post Offices In USVI Are Providing Mail Service Except For These Locations

Update: Sat. Oct. 7, 9:10 a.m. — Based on new information provided by the Postal Service, for today, Saturday Oct. 7, the Kingshill and Christiansted  Post Offices — the two main branches — will open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The other post offices, including Downtown Christiansted, Gallows Bay and Sunny Isle, open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On Monday, which is a holiday in the territory, all post offices open from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m. Carriers will also be offering parcel delivery only on Monday.

Original Post provided by the Postal Service late Friday: All post offices in the U.S. Virgin Islands are providing mail service (handout, post office box service, limited delivery where safe to proceed) to all customers with the following exceptions:

VETERANS ANNEX

All Normal Services out of Veterans Annex are being done at the Charlotte Amalie Main Post Office**  (9846 ESTATE THOMAS) location

Open to the Public

9:00AM – 4:00PM

EMANCIPATION GARDENS

All Normal Services out of Emancipation Gardens Station are being done at the Havensight Station**  (9007 HAVENSIGHT SHOPP CTR) postal location

Open to the Public

9:00AM – 4:00PM

FREDERIKSTED

All Normal Services out of Fredericksted Station are being done at the Kingshill Post Office** (2 EST LA REINE) postal location

Open to the Public

9:00AM – 2:00PM

In addition, 90 post offices in the Caribbean are providing retail services (stamps, packages, money orders).  Due to limited connectivity and occasional power issues across the Caribbean, scanning services are intermittent.  The Postal Service apologized for any inconvenience as it works with existing infrastructures to provide additional scans as possible.
