ST. CROIX — The V.I.P.D. and the family of Alphonse Martin Bapaume, a 66-year-old man who has been missing since Thursday, are seeking the community’s assistance in locating him.

Mr. Bapaume is an employee of the Dept. of Public Works, according to the V.I.P.D. He goes by the alias “Martin St. Jean, Paco”. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, has brown eyes, has mostly black hair, and weighs 160 pounds, according to police.

Mr. Bapaume is said to have a scar on his back, and walks with a limp because of a knee injury, according to police. He frequents Upper Love, Grove Place, Whim and Plaza Extra West.

Mr. Bapaume, who lives across from the Eualie Rivera Elementary School, was last seen at his residence on Thursday wearing a blue shirt, blue work pants, slippers and a cap, according to police.
