ST. CROIX — The Department of Public Works on Thursday advised the St. Croix motoring public that roadwork will take place on Friday at the Five Corners Intersection. The repairs, which will include resurfacing and striping, are expected to last from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the same.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes, if possible, to reduce congestion at the intersection.
D.P.W. Commissioner Nelson Petty urged drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic signs as they traverse the roads in the vicinity of the construction site. The community’s patience is greatly appreciated as the department works to improve road conditions throughout the territory, the department said.
