The Federal Bureau of Investigation has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of Paul “Bogus” Girard to $20,000, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte said Thursday.
According to the FBI, Mr. Girard escaped from prison, although there are unconfirmed reports that he might have been mistakenly released.
A press release issued in July by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the territory, said Mr. Girard was sentenced to 37 months imprisonment for possession of prison contraband. He was also ordered to serve the sentence consecutively to a separate sentence imposed by the Superior Court on March 3, 2015.
Mr. Girard, who is believed to be armed and dangerous, is of a brown complexion and stands 6 feet, two inches tall. Last seen he had long, black locks, and a tattoo that read “Linda” on his left shoulder. He weighs 210 pounds and has brown eyes, according to the information provided by law enforcement.
