ST. CROIX — A Caucasian male was found with bullet wounds to his body in La Grange, Frederiksted, days after he went missing, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced late Thursday.
According to Mr. Dratte, citing a police report, the victim was reported missing on Thursday by a concerned resident, who traveled to the Francis Command Zone B in Frederiksted at 3:00 p.m. to file a report, and to request a welfare check on the missing individual.
Officers traveled to La Grange and discovered the remains of a Caucasian male, with what appeared to be bullet wounds to his body, Mr. Dratte said.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification, according to police.
