The Crucian Christmas Festival Committee has unveiled the general lineup of the 2018-19 festival season, which includes the dates, times and places where events will be taking place, but not the artist lineup, which the committee said will be provided closer to the season.
According to the release, which was issued Monday, “Festival Fete Kingdom” is the theme of the 2018-19 festival season, which it says pays homage to St. Croix’s African heritage while acknowledging the present-day festival revelry and pageantry.
The honoree for the Food, Arts and Crafts Fair is Patricia Lynch Irving and the Festival Village, “Miss Alda’s Palace” is named for Miss Alda Francis. Food Fair and Village honorees are chosen by the committee based on the length of time they have been participating in their respective events, according to the release.
