One man was shot on Saturday night at Paradise Mills on St. Croix by unknown assailants after an altercation got out of control.

The man, 19, was shot in the arm and treated at the Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center, according to Police spokesperson Melody Rames.

Initially, Police found no victim but was later told that the injured person was transported by private vehicle to the hospital. Police then made contact with the driver of a black pickup truck that had dropped off the victim to the emergency room.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. in front of Building 2.
