Hakim Brooks, 34, was arrested late Monday afternoon by St. Thomas police and charged with First Degree Robbery, Third Degree Assault and Grand Larceny.
Police say Brooks robbed and assaulted a 28-year-old victim in the area of Pile Strade on Sept. 15 at about 6:30 p.m.
Brooks was captured seven days later, on Sept. 22, at about 4:45 p.m. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights Hearing, and his bail was set at $160,000.
