Man Shot Dead Near St. Thomas Nightclub

Shacoi E. Benjamin, 22, was shot and killed early Sunday morning near the Blitz Night Club located on Norre Gade, St. Thomas.

Officers received the call of the shooting that occurred around 4:08 a.m. and while responding to the scene, they were notified that the victim was taken by private vehicle to the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.

Police report that Benjamin was fatally shot at least one time and was pronounced dead by hospital medical staff.
