ST. THOMAS — A Hispanic male was pronounced dead on the scene in Bordeaux after sustaining multiple gunshots wounds in several parts of his body, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced via press release.
According to Jackson, at around 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, officers descended on Bordeaux to investigate a citizen’s report that a male had been shot in the area and was probably dead.
The VIPD’s Criminal Investigation Bureau, K-9 Unit and Forensics team conducted an inspection of the surroundings and discovered an unresponsive Hispanic male. The victim had sustained several gunshot wounds to his body and was pronounced dead.
Police are asking anyone with information concerning this homicide to call the Major Crimes Unit at 340-714-9823 or 911, as detectives continue their investigation into the matter.
