WICO Confirms Ship Arrivals And Cancellations

ST. THOMAS – The West Indian Company, Ltd. has updated its schedule of ship arrivals and cancellations for the coming week, according to a press release the firm issued on Friday.

The arrivals and cancellations are as follows:

  • Carnival Liberty is confirmed for Saturday, August 29th.  The ship will arrive at 7:00 a.m. and depart at 5:00 p.m. It was originally scheduled to visit St. Thomas on Monday, August 24th
  • Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas is confirmed to make its regularly scheduled call on Sunday, August 30th. The ship will arrive at 7:30 a.m. and depart at 5:00 p.m.
  • Norwegian Getaway has cancelled its Tuesday, September 1 call to St. Thomas, and heading to the Western Caribbean.  

All other ships scheduled for the week of Sunday, August 30th through Saturday, September 5 will arrive as planned unless otherwise announced, WICO said.

“With the passage of Tropical Storm Erika, we are thankful that the territory was not adversely affected,” Joseph B. Boschulte, President and CEO of the West Indian Company, Ltd. said.  

“We are especially grateful that, for the most part, we are able to return to normalcy almost immediately.  We keep the residents of Dominica and other islands that have experienced devastating floods and loss of life in our thoughts and prayers.”
