ST. THOMAS — A man named Ricardo Rhymer, 33, of Agnes Fancy, was arrested and charged with third degree assault after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend with a pocket knife, V.I.P.D. Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman announced on Wednesday.

According to Ms. Freeman, Mr. Rhymer was arrested after he was identified by the victim as the person who stabbed her in her stomach, causing multiple lacerations.

No bail was set for Mr. Rhymer, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
