ST. THOMAS — The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced on Monday the opening of an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) at the Nisky Shopping Center in St. Thomas, on Tuesday. SBA staff remains in St. Thomas to assist survivors impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the SBA said.
SBA representatives at the DLOC can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions and assist in completing the SBA application, according to the release. The center is located as indicated below and will operate until further notice:

Opening: Tuesday, March 20 at 8 a.m.
Days: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed: Saturday and Sunday
Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at DisasterLoan.sba.gov.

Loan applications can also be downloaded at sba.gov. The deadline to return economic injury applications for Hurricane Irma is June 7, 2018 and Hurricane Maria is June 20, 2018.
