Dept. Of Health Takes Mobile Medical Van On Road Trip For Public Health Week Initiative

In recognition of Public Health Week, recognized on April 3rd to the 5th, the Department of Health (D.O.H.) is taking its medical van on a road trip and bringing the clinic to the community, the department has announced.

D.O.H. will be providing free health screenings, vaccinations and referrals for mental health counseling, information on D.O.H. services and more. Each day from Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the department said it will be in a different location in each district.

The locations are as follows:

St. Croix      

Tuesday, April 3rd:                 Frederiksted, Play Ground/Legislature Parking Lot

Wednesday, April 4th:          Sunny Isle Shopping Center at the Amphitheatre

Thursday, April 5th:               Fort Christian park

St. Thomas/St. John

Tuesday, April 3rd:              Emancipation Garden

Wednesday:                         TuTu Park Mall

Thursday:                              St. John @ Morris DeCastro Clinic
