Watch | St. Croix Senators Address JFL Employees

St. Croix District senators met today at the Juan F. Luis Hospital to address employees who voiced their concerns in a recent Consortium video about a $39.5 million medicaid reimbursement. The funds, sent to the territory’s medical facilities, were set to be used for a number of other purposes, including the purchase of garbage trucks for the Dept. of Sports, Parks and Recreation. The measure was crafted, the senators said, by fomer Finance Chair Donna Frett-Gregory and the Office of the Governor — unbeknownst to members of the Finance Committee. Watch.
