St. Thomas Man Shot Dead In Hidden Valley Apartments

Note: This is an update to a shooting death VIPD first reported as having take place at Tutu High-Rise apartments on Monday, Jan. 26. Police are now reporting the shooting took place at Hidden Valley Apartments.

On Jan. 26 at about 6:15 p.m., St. Thomas police were called to the scene of gunshots fired in the vicinity of Bldg. 21 at the Hidden Valley Apartments. When they arrived at the location, they found an unresponsive male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man has been identified as 21-year-old Ezekiah Joseph, who was pronounced dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Technicians and taken to the Schneider Regional Medical Center.

The shooting is the fifth homicide reported in the territory for 2015. It is the third on St. Thomas.
