DPNR To Host ‘Summer At Your Library’ Summer Camp

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (D.P.N.R.) announced on Wednesday its first territorial summer camp dubbed “Adventure at your Library”.

The Adventure at Your Library summer camp is designed to foster and promote a great appreciation for libraries in its participants, while offering them an unforgettable experience in nature and their community, D.P.N.R. said.

The camp is geared for children between the ages of seven and twelve years old. Lunch will be provided along with story time, educational activities, field trips, arts and crafts and much more. The camp starts on Monday, July 9 through Friday, August 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the following libraries:

St. Croix

Florence A. Williams Public Library

St. Thomas

Charles Wesley Turnbull Regional Public Library

Applications are currently available at the respective library.  Application deadline is Thursday, June 28.  There are limited seats and completed applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis, D.P.N.R. said.
