Man Shot To Death In Work & Rest After Argument Over Horse

Nineteen-year-old Malik Davis was shot dead on Wednesday morning in the front of another man’s residence after an argument erupted over a horse, police spokeswoman Melody Rames said.

Police were alerted of the shooting at around 9 a.m. Witnesses say Davis was in the front yard with one or more persons when the deadly incident occurred.

Police are urging anyone who may have been in the area or who knows anything about this case to call detectives. Residents may also call 911 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8744).
