St. Thomas Man Found Dead; Cause Of Death Unknown

ST. THOMAS — A St. Thomas man was found dead on arrival (D.O.A.) at about 1:20 p.m. today, lying motionless in the vicinity of Ross Taarenberg, V.I.P.D. Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman has announced.

According to Ms. Freeman, the individual was pronounced D.O.A. by an emergency response team. His body was transported to the morgue and cause of death will not be known until an autopsy is performed, she said.

The deceased was later identified by next of kin as 53-year-old Milton Gardon.

The V.I.P.D. is asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Major Crimes at 340-714-9823 ext. 5617, Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-714-9807 ext. 5556, Crime Stoppers or the Chief’s Office at 340-774-2211.
